Payment Voucher

परिभाषा: A payment voucher records money going OUT of the society — cash or bank — such as paying a supplier, an expense, a salary, or a loan disbursement.

आसान शब्दों में

"Paisa gaya" — whenever the society pays money, it is a payment. The payment voucher notes who was paid, how much, and from cash or bank.

जब समिति पैसा देती है (आपूर्तिकर्ता को, खर्च, वेतन, कर्ज़ वितरण), तो वह "भुगतान" है। भुगतान वाउचर बताता है — किसे दिया, कितना, और नकद या बैंक से। नकद/बैंक घटता है।

In English

A payment voucher credits cash/bank and debits the party or expense account. Use "Make Payment" for bill-wise settlement to suppliers.

यह क्यों ज़रूरी है

Payments keep the cash/bank book and supplier dues correct, and feed the Receipts & Payments statement. Wrong bank choice breaks bank reconciliation.

• ❌ "Payment and receipt are interchangeable." → Payment is money OUT; receipt is money IN.
• ❌ "Bank payment auto-picks the right account." → Choose the correct bank so BRS tallies.
