Cooperative vs Company
परिभाषा: A cooperative differs from a company in ownership and purpose: a cooperative is member-owned and democratically controlled (one member, one vote) to serve members, whereas a company is owned by shareholders in proportion to capital and primarily aims to maximise shareholder profit.
In a cooperative, control follows people (one vote each) and the goal is member benefit; in a company, control follows money (more shares, more votes) and the goal is investor profit.
